The Tenerife Energy Agency (AIET) and the Institute of Technology and Renewable Energies (ITER) invite you to participate in the activities that these entities have organized in the frame of the Science and Innovation Weeks in the Canary Islands that will be held from the 9th to 22nd of November 2015.

As part of this initiative and to commemorate the 25th anniversary of ITER, ITER in collaboration with AIET has prepared a special program of activities. Among these activities is the “Families energy day”, for those families who wish to learn more about renewable energy in a funny and practical way, and the project “Is a 100% renewable island?”, in which secondary and high school students, together with their teachers, will be able to join the educational activities organized by ITER and AIET, concerning the introduction to the app ISLA 100%, one of ISLA RENOVABLE Project’s tools.

Moreover, both entities will participate in the science and innovation mini-fairs of Santa Cruz the Tenerife (19 – 21 of November) and in the Science Fair of La Orotava with the aim of presenting their main lines of activity and researchs.

The Science and Innovation Weeks in the Canary Islands are an initiative of the Government of the Canary Islands, organized throughout the Canary Agency of Investigation, Innovation and Society of the Information, with the aim of disseminating the initiatives that are developed in the Islands in relation to the scientific and innovative activities.
